31-year-old joins from Raynes Park Vale

Phoenix Sports have signed experienced central defender Jake Goodman from Isthmian South Central side Raynes Park Vale.
The Bexley-born player started his career in the Millwall youth setup and gained early senior experience with loan spells at Staines Town, Luton Town, Aldershot Town, and AFC Wimbledon before leaving Millwall permanently for Margate in the National League South.
He has made over 150 appearances at that level with Braintree Town, Maidenhead United, Bromley, and Dover Athletic.
Manager Darren Anslow said:
“We're delighted to get Jake in for the rest of the season. He’s a really good defender, a leader, and an experienced head, so he will definitely make the group stronger.”
The 31-year-old, who has recently had spells with Sittingbourne, Folkestone Invicta, and Burgess Hill Town, is available for selection for Saturday’s trip to Ramsgate.
