Phoenix travel to league leaders on Saturday 8 February

Phoenix travel to top-of-the-table Ramsgate on Saturday 8 February, hoping to make it three games unbeaten following their away draw at Margate and victory over Deal Town last time out.
Darren Anslow’s men have had a week to recover from the visit of Deal and have strengthened their squad with the additions of experienced central defender Jake Goodman and exciting attacking midfielder Jamarie Brissett.
Phoenix have no fresh injury concerns, and Kiye Martin returns after being unavailable for selection in the victory over Deal. Max Huxter and Marcel Brown remain Phoenix’s most notable absentees.
Ramsgate are formidable opposition, having won their last seven league games, including 5-0 victories over Littlehampton, Beckenham, and Three Bridges. They have only dropped seven points all season, winning 24 of their 27 games and losing just once. They sit four points clear of Sittingbourne at the top of the league.
Joe Taylor is their top scorer and is one away from reaching 40 for the season. Alfie Paxman and Tijan Jadama have 20 between them, adding to Ramsgate’s huge attacking threat.
Phoenix were unlucky not to leave with a point when the clubs met earlier in the season, losing 1-0 to a single Joe Taylor goal. However, this is an entirely different side from the one that faced Ramsgate in October, and they’ll be full of belief after recent positive performances.
Tickets for Saturday’s clash are available on the gate priced:
Adults – £10
Concessions (Over 60) – £5
16-18s – £3
U16s – FREE with an Adult
