Phoenix face Erith in local derby on Tuesday.

Erith Town make the short trip to Phoenix on Tuesday night (7.45PM) as Darren Anslow’s men look to build on Saturday’s draw with Margate.
The rearranged local derby fell to the weather on New Year’s Day and both sets of supporters will be hoping the same doesn’t happen again after some torrential rain on Monday and more forecasted on Monday.
Phoenix actually sit one place above Erith in the form table with seven points from their last six games. The Sports desperately need to pick up points to help them climb out of the relegation zone.
Anslow will be without Jack Turner, who went off against Margate with concussion after a clash of heads. However, Richard Pingling returns to the squad having missed out against at Hartsdown Park.
After last season’s playoff triumph, Erith have adjusted well to life in Step Four, currently sitting comfortably in 11th position halfway through the season. Their success has been built on defensive resilience, conceding the fewest goals of any team outside the league’s top four.
Although Erith have consistently performed well against lower-ranked teams, they’ve struggled against higher-placed sides, securing just one point against current top-six opposition. They still face league leaders Sittingbourne both home and away.
James Dyer, Harry Taylor, and Ollie Milton have been standout performers for Erith, netting 33 goals between them. Phoenix will need to be at their best to keep this trio quiet.
Tickets are available online or via cash or card at the gate. Matchday programmes are now exclusively online and can be accessed here on Tuesday morning.
