MATCH PREVIEW: PHOENIX VS BECKENHAM TOWN

Beckenham visit Phoenix in a crucial match at both ends of the table

Phoenix face Beckenham Town for the second time this week on Saturday as they look to get back to winning ways and climb the Isthmian South East table.

Darren Anslow’s men have had a tough week after falling to defeat against promotion chasing Burgess Hill Town and Beckenham and need to find three points to have a realistic chance of survival.

Phoenix are hoping to be boosted by the return of Perri Iandolo while Sam Freeman and Jamarie Brissett who both picked up injuries in Tuesday’s reverse fixture will face late fitness tests.

Beckenham, who now sit three points of a play-off spot will be desperate to build momentum in a crucial local derby due to be played out on the hottest day of the year so far.

There’s plenty happening at The Christopher Russell Stadium on Saturday, including Everton vs. Arsenal on the big screen, a book swap for young fans, and a pizza van courtesy of Freewheelin’ Pizza.
