Phoenix travel to the coast to face third-placed Margate on Saturday

Phoenix travel to third-placed Margate FC on Saturday, 25 January, hoping to upset the form table and pick up some crucial points on the road.
Darren Anslow’s men have had a week to stew over their home defeat to Burgess Hill Town, but the break has given defender Will Grieveson time to recover, and he is once again available for selection. Ahkeem Belford faces a late fitness test but could also feature on Saturday. Marcel Brown remains sidelined with a long-term injury.
Margate have endured a tricky run of form and needed two injury-time goals from Ben Allen to snatch a win over Hythe on Tuesday night.
Ben Greenhalgh’s side will still be formidable opposition, having lost just twice all season. Their strong showing has been built around a solid backline, which has conceded only 25 goals so far.
Interestingly, their home form has not been as strong as their away performances, with seven of their 12 league games at Hartsdown Park ending in draws.
Their star man has been Ibrahim Olutade, though the striker has struggled of late, scoring just once in six games. Olutade is one goal away from reaching 20 for the season and will be hoping to hit that milestone on Saturday.
Tickets are available online or from the turnstile on Saturday.
